Bird's Eye View

this started out being a picture about a birdhouse!...somewhere along the journey, it turned into a picture from the bird's point of view!:-)...feathers are lacy japanese maple...i also used a piece of alstromeria, a leaf and some pieces of pampas grass to complete his body...the pampas grass was lovingly gathered by my daughter during a local parade:-)...he is perched on thin bark and surrounded by japanese maple leaves...the birdhouse is also made with bark...little wisps of moss adorn the roof giving it a welcoming look:-) enjoy:-)
